Privacy Policy

What this covers

This policy describes thebotplaybook.com, an independent fan site of setup prompts for Grok Bot. It is not affiliated with the makers of Grok Bot. The operator is The Bot Playbook.

The signup form asks for an email address so we can send the daily note. Until the email provider is connected, the form checks that the address looks valid and does not store it. When it is connected, we store the address with Resend only to send that note and to process unsubscribes. Each message will include a way to unsubscribe. You can also email hello@thebotplaybook.com and ask to be removed.

Submissions and sponsorship mail

If you submit a play, we receive the name, email, and play details you send to hello@thebotplaybook.com. We use that to review the play and, if we publish it, to credit you when you asked to be credited. Sponsorship inquiries go to sponsors@thebotplaybook.com. We keep those messages as long as we need them for that conversation, and we delete them on request.

Analytics

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They measure page views, referrers, a general device and location, and loading performance. They are not advertising cookies, and we do not use them to build a profile of you for sale. The host may also keep ordinary server logs needed to run the site.

Sponsor links

Logos and links marked as sponsorships go to a sponsor's own site. That site has its own privacy practices. We may be paid for a ticker logo, a homepage placement, or a mention in the newsletter. Following a sponsor link shares with that sponsor whatever their site normally collects from a visit.

We do not sell data

We do not sell personal information. We do not share newsletter addresses or submission details with sponsors, or with anyone else, for their own marketing.
